My gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for giving this wonderful truth, Christian Science, to the world is unbounded. I should not be alive today if it had not resurrected me from a living death.

After I had been in mental darkness for twenty–five years and had been in an institution for the mentally ill, where several of the best psychiatrists in the country pronounced me incurable, my daughter finally took me to a Christian Science practitioner to be healed. The practitioner could see the nothingness of the error no matter how great it seemed to be, and through her untiring patience, Christlike compassion, and understanding of Truth, I was healed. A medical doctor and two leading psychiatrists pronounced the healing complete. Friends who knew me years ago and who see me today say that the change is miraculous.

I was also healed of hay fever of thirty years' standing, a false appetite, colds, headaches, pinworms, a dropsical condition, weak eyesight, and bad hearing through the work of the same practitioner.
