I have received so much help from reading the testimonies in The Christian Science journal and the Sentinel that I feel my testimony should have been sent in many years ago.

When my two little girls were not yet of school age, my health was so poor that the family doctor said I could not possibly live through the winter. That was in September. I suffered a great deal from stomach trouble and sick headaches. The doctor could do nothing to help me except give me hypodermics. At this time a neighbor told me of a woman who had been healed by Christian Science when she was very near death from consumption. I told my friend that if the woman had been healed by this Science, I could be healed also. My mother had taught me to believe in prayer. I got in touch with a Christian Science practitioner, and in a very short time I was able to do all my own work and take care of my children.

During the nearly fifty years that have passed since this healing, my family and I have received many other healings and blessings, too numerous to mention, through the study and application of Christian Science. It has helped me through many trials. I am very grateful to God for Christ Jesus, for our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and for the faithful practitioners. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and also for the Christian Science literature and the radio programs.—(Mrs.) Louisa Way, Akron, Iowa.
