Only twenty-four hours after...
Only twenty-four hours after my first visit to a Christian Science practitioner almost fourteen years ago, my life took a decided change for the better. I had been undecided which of two divergent roads to take in molding my future. Neither one seemed especially desirable. The practitioner discerned that I was completely honest in my desire to do right, and proceeded to give me a treatment.
That night an unexpectedly happy development made it unnecessary to waver with doubt any longer about what decision to make, and the next day I was on a train crossing the continent. I realized that I had had immediate response to my first call for help in Christian Science. From that day on I have continued to study and have been greatly blessed. I could not at first fully understand or accept all that was contained in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, but realized that I was benefited by what I could understand, and so I persisted until doubt disappeared.
