That Christian Science heals...

That Christian Science heals was proved to me recently. I have also learned that with God as my guide and infinite source of power I can demonstrate Science in a very practical way for the son of God can be deprived of no good thing.

After being in the Navy a little over a year I was given an opportunity to apply and be examined for a fleet appointment to the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis. I was one of two men to receive an appointment at my station, and was sent to the Naval Academy preparatory school for a course of intensive study.

A few weeks before the final examinations for the Academy, I was compelled to enter the Naval hospital with what was called a tonsillar abscess. I was filled with fear at having to use valuable time in this way, when I needed it to prepare for my finals, and I asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner. I was well enough to leave the hospital just two days before the tests started.
