I am indeed very grateful for Christian Science and for all its benefits.
In 1908 I became interested in Science. My first healing was of eczema. Many other ailments disappeared during the working out of this problem. In the years that followed I had wonderful help through Science at all times and under all conditions. I was instantaneously healed of a bad case of poisoning, and was healed of grief and separation when my mother and my sister passed on.
At a Wednesday evening meeting I gave a testimony. The next day half of my face was swollen as though there were something the matter with a tooth. I did my work as we are taught in Christian Science, and also had help from a practitioner, but the condition did not change. A woman who saw me several days later and who knew that I depended upon Science, told me that the condition was dangerous. But I did not fear or lose my courage, because I knew that God is my Life.
