Complete reliance on Truth, as Mrs. Eddy teaches, has been my greatest blessing. Broken bones have been healed, and sinus trouble of years' duration has completely vanished through the application of Christian Science. However, I am most grateful for the disappearance of undesirable traits of character, and the drinking and smoking habits. Practitioners have helped smooth out many a rough spot.

Our dear Leader has written in the Preface to Science and Health (p. vii), "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." How many times during the past few years I have been grateful for the "sustaining infinite," with our two sons in the armed services. The elder son, a machine gunner in the infantry, came through much action in Germany without a scratch. He had been a pupil in the Christian Science Sunday School, and gives all credit to Science. The war would have been a hard period to go through if I had not been able to realize how much better the all-loving Father-Mother God cares for all our boys than any human parents could. Whenever truth has been properly applied, it has met our every need.

For membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church I am humbly grateful. It is my sincere desire to live so that I may be worthy of the name "Christian Scientist."—J. Buchanan Nims, West Concord. Massachusetts.
