Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

Glamorganshire, South Wales

The editors with whom this Committee has come in contact are very friendly. Nothing which needed correction has appeared in print during the year. In spite of increasing difficulties owing to paper shortage, excerpts from the Lesson-Sermon still appear quite frequently in one new-paper and less frequently in another. The "Gems of Thought" series appears in part in various papers.

Three requests for addresses to non-Christian Scientists have been received during the year. The first, was to a Sewing Guild. The request for this address was the result of the work of the Almoner of that district. The recipients of the gifts of clothing, and so forth, from the Christian Science churches asked to be told something of the teaching of the church which gave so liberally, without consideration of sect, to any who needed help as the result of the war. The meeting was a very happy one.
