Items of Interest

The Annual Meeting of The Mother Church will be held on Monday, June 5, as required by Article XIII, Section 1, of the Church Manual.A correction was made in the May 27, 1944 Sentinel: "It was the intention to refer to Article XIII, Section 1, of the Church Manual, in the Item of Interest beginning on page 661 of the 

 Christian Science Sentinel  of April 22, headed 'Attendance at Annual Meeting,' but, due to an error in typing, Article XXXI, Section 1, was referred to."  Members of this church have enjoyed journeying to Boston from far and near to attend the meeting when they could conveniently arrange to do so.

As usual, the reports which are read at the Annual Meeting will be published in The Christian Science Journal, and briefly in The Christian Science Monitor and Christian Science Sentinel. The addresses delivered at the General Activities Meeting on the evening of June 6 will also be published in the Sentinel.

A reminder issued by the United States Office of Defense Transportation, concerning the importance of keeping transportation facilities available for the most urgently necessary uses at the present time, calls upon the officers and members of organizations to give careful thought to the effect which large attendance at a meeting might have on the transportation systems.
