Church Dedications
Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.
The Kelowna Courier
Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada (Society).
Dedication services were held on Sunday. November 21. 1943. by Christian Science Society, Kelowna, with a large congregation present at each of the two services.
The society was organized in February. 1925. In 1928, a building site was purchased on Bernard Avenue and Bertram Street. In the summer of 1933 the construction of a church edifice began, and the first services were held in the new building the following October. A grant made by the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy helped to make possible the dedication.
