I met with an accident in Memphis, Tennessee. I was taken to the hospital, unconscious, by a stranger. The X ray showed broken ribs. The tissues on my entire side were badly torn. After five weeks there was a change for the worse. Three attending physicians said I had cancer of the breast and that it was necessary to operate to remove the breast. In the meantime I had lost complete use of my arm and there was a discharge.

In despair I thought of Christian Science. I wrote for help to the only Christian Scientist I knew. I wrote her on the Thursday prior to the Monday on which I was to have the operation, and before I received an answer to the letter I was better. By Monday I was completely healed. This was my first healing in Christian Science. I have not called on a doctor since. This experience took place four years ago. I am now employed and hold a position of great responsibility.

I can truthfully say that Christian Science has never failed me in any hour of need. I am grateful to God for being led to Christian Science.—(Mrs.) Mary Ella Anderson, Chicago, Illinois.
