I have been so greatly benefited by Christian Science that I cannot begin to tell the whole story. My mother and grandmother became interested when I was about ten years old, and were greatly helped by study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I was early given the opportunity of attending a Christian Science Sunday School. At one time when I had a serious throat condition, and before I had learned much of the truth we were taught in Sunday school, my mother told me I might make my choice between medical or surgical treatment and Christian Science treatment.

I chose the latter. I was healed after paying two or three visits after school to the home of a Christian Science worker for treatment. This condition did not recur until some twenty years later, when it was met again promptly and completely by Christian Science treatment.

Recently the great value of the vest pocket pamphlets issued by The Christian Science Publishing Society has been emphasized to me. Under such headings as "Safety," "Deliverance," "Our Refuge," the accounts of specific instances of the saving power of the one infinite Mind recalled an experience of my own in the first World War. I was protected in the following manner:
