Your correspondent would seek to associate Christian Science with human philosophy. No human system of philosophy, even though embellished with the alluring title of "Christian Philosophy," has any analogy with or correlation to Christian Science, which accepts the Apostle Paul's dictum. "The things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."

"No man ever prayed heartily," says Emerson, "without learning something;" and to that may be added Coleridge's dictum that "he prayeth best who loveth best all things both great and small."
