Each day I realize more and more how important Christian Science has become in my life. I thank God for the wonderful protection and help I have received through the study of Christian Science. I am very grateful to be able to prove with certainty the healing and regenerating power of this teaching.

In 1940 I was taking my meals across the street from the hotel where I had been living for fifteen years. One evening, as I was leaving this place, I stumbled over the turned-up end of a rubber mat, and fell heavily to the floor. I was picked up very quickly, but found I could not walk. A Christian Science practitioner, who was called, arrived in a short time. I was taken back to the hotel in a wheel chair and put to bed. This was on a Thursday night. The practitioner stayed with me all night. We were mindful of Mrs. Eddy's words on pages 401 and 402 of Science and Health (lines 27–3), but felt led to rely entirely on our work in Christian Science. On Saturday morning an X ray was taken, which showed that two bones had been broken. While it showed the break plainly, it also revealed the perfect setting of both bones. I was not surprised, for we know God's work is perfect, and neither the practitioner nor I had ever expected anything but perfection. Spiritual man is as perfect as his creator.

I am very grateful for this healing and feel more loving toward God and the world in general than I have ever felt before. I praise and adore the loving Father every day. I am giving this experience in the hope that it may benefit someone.—(Mrs.) Rose Ells, Terre Haute, Indiana.
