To Those in Our Service

May all who strive to bring the world true peace
Know peace within themselves as they go forth:
A sure, deep, inner calm that cannot cease,
That knows no dread of ill from out the north,
The south, the east, the west, or from within.
May they stand strong and steadfast for the right,
Assured that fear as well as wrong is sin,
Because it is the doubt that good is might.

A sane tranquillity belongs to all
Who have abiding faith that God is Love—
The only power on earth, below, above—
Who knows His own, and listens for their call,
That He may show that evil's boast is vain;
That good, and good alone, shall always reign.
