My heart is full of gratitude at being able to testify to the healing power of Christian Science.

I first knew of it when I was a boy. A copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy came into our home, and remained with us for many years. I picked the book up at rare intervals, but my interest was never held. I do remember, however, that the capitalization of the words Mind, Love, and other synonyms for God left its impression. Also, occasionally a friend would send us a year's subscription to the Christian Science Sentinel, but these copies were rarely read.

After the depression, I found myself unemployed, and while at home and searching for reading matter found the copy of Science and Health and started to read it, and many of the old copies of the Sentinel which had been in the home for years. I began to attend Christian Science churches and lectures and to visit Reading Rooms, and have continued these activities.
