Christian Science Committee on Publication for Nevada Reports

Checking over the work for the past year, we find continued activity being manifested in this state. A Christian Science Society opened its church building for services, another church was dedicated, and lectures were given in awakening fields.

Isaiah tells us (4:5), "For upon all the glory shall be a defence," and Mrs. Eddy very wisely has given the foundation for this defensive activity of The Mother Church in Article XXXIII and in Section 6 of Article I of the Church Manual.

No newspaper items have called for correction during this period, due in a great measure to the fact that The Christian Science Publishing Society in Boston, Massachusetts, has continued to grant The Christian Science Monitor "subscription in exchange for advertising" plan to all editors. As editors become familiar with the policy of the Monitor and of the Christian Science organization they are less interested in printing adverse or unfavorable criticism about Christian Science.
