Authorized Replies to Comments on Christian Science Appearing in the Press
Mrs. Mary Burrow Johnson, Committee on Publication for Virginia Times-Herald, Newport News
In the realm of religion nothing reflects more the teaching of Christ Jesus than brotherly kindness, tolerance, and charity toward all. In a war-torn world, the one bright spot has been the increase of faith in God, and the protection which has been afforded those who have trusted Him and turned to Him in prayer.
At this time in our history, does it not seem that our efforts should be directed toward bringing about more loving and harmonious relations with our immediate neighbors, for in this way only shall we be able to overcome the forces of evil which would endeavor to bring about the destruction of religion, home, and country.
