The Lectures
Introductions to Lectures
London, England
(Eighth Church).
Lecturer: Ralph B. Scholfield; introduced by Mrs. Edith W. Stacey, who said:—
In II Corinthians the Apostle Paul speaks of "the God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God." That is why we have invited you to this lecture, that you may hear of "the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God," for Christian Science reveals to us the healing power of the Word of God, and thus gives us the very best comfort in all our tribulations.
