The Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society today announced the election, with the concurrence of The Christian Science Board of Directors, of Hudson C. Burr, C.S., of Brookline, Massachusetts, as a Trustee to fill the vacancy left by the election of Francis L. Jandron, C.S.B., to The Christian Science Board of Directors.

Mr. Burr was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, and received his early education in the schools there. He graduated from Brown University with an electrical engineering degree, having also specialized in academic courses. After graduation he became Assistant Commercial Engineer of the Westinghouse Company in Bloomfield, New Jersey, and later held a similar position with The Holophane Engineering Company in Ohio.
