Leadership
[Eugene E. Wilson, President of United Aircraft Corporation, as quoted in The New York Times]
The whole world cries for courageous leadership. While our research people create new miracles, we fumble our elementary internal and public relations. Unless we learn to improve our leadership, the machine we have created bids fair to destroy us.
The defense of American freedom calls for a moral and spiritual renaissance. This demands leadership of the highest type in public affairs. My generation has cultivated the green pastures of science and industry. Yours must explore beyond that horizon.
