I should like to give a testimony regarding the many blessings which I have been privileged to experience through Christian Science.

Because of a serious ear trouble—a severe case of deafness and of suppuration—I had to have a mastoid operation in both ears. In the opinion of several doctors I should become hopelessly deaf. As a result of this trouble, I was able to go to school for three years only at intervals. I was so weak from the continual pain that no one would or could employ me.

In my most severe distress, God's help came. Six years ago, through a kind Christian Scientist, I heard of Christian Science. Through the loving help of a practitioner, I came to understand that in spite of the removal of my acoustic duct, I could regain my hearing, because hearing is, after all, a God-bestowed faculty, which can never be lost. I now hear very well. The doctor who had treated me said to me, very much moved, "A miracle has happened here!"
