I am sincerely grateful to God that He led me to Christian Science, through which I have been healed mentally and physically.

For a year I was under the treatment of two doctors, one a specialist, for a serious bladder complaint, but was not healed. Then I heard of Christian Science and asked a practitioner to visit me. After her first visit I began to improve, for she raised my hopes and explained God to me as the only physician. Then I was given a copy of Der Herold der Christian Science to read, and I bought the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and the Bible, and began to read the Lesson-Sermons regularly in the Christian Science Quarterly. The following Sunday I was able to attend church and a Christian Science lecture. My great fear had yielded. Still, there remained a great deal to be worked out in order to prove this new-old religion. We strove earnestly, and there was continual improvement; but it was not until November 24, 1927, at the Thanksgiving service, that I felt completely healed. Since then I feel energetic, can eat everything that used to be forbidden, without bad effects, and am endeavoring to share the great love I have experienced.

My daughters, too, have experienced blessings in Christian Science; and we are all very grateful to God and to Mrs. Eddy, to whom we owe the discovery of Christian Science. I am also grateful to the practitioner who helped me.—(Mrs.) Frieda Stranghoner, Bielefeld, Westfalen, Germany.
