Our only daughter became afflicted with blindness

Our only daughter became afflicted with blindness. We had three specialists, and they gave us no encouragement that her sight would be restored. She continued to grow worse under their treatment. One of our near relatives, who is a Christian Scientist, came to our home and requested us to give Christian Science a trial. We at once dismissed the doctors and took our daughter to a practitioner, and at the same time began reading the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and other authorized Christian Science literature. In less than a month she could see, and gradually her sight became normal; whereas before, she could only distinguish daylight from darkness. Her eyesight is now perfect. She does not need to wear glasses, and goes to school every day. This healing took place two years ago.

We have had other healings, through Christian Science, of acute indigestion, severe headaches, and skin disease. These healings prove that the law of God, as understood in Christian Science, does meet our needs, even after material means have been tried and have failed. Our hearts are filled with gratitude for this Christian way of healing.
