With a grateful heart I wish to testify to the healings which I experienced in Christian Science after years of sickness and several operations had completely ruined my health.

In January, 1923, I heard of Christian Science for the first time. Although I attended several Wednesday evening testimony meetings, I could not overcome my doubt. In the following months my physical condition grew so much worse that at the end of 1923 I was obliged to go to a sanitarium for lung trouble; for, according to the opinion of several physicians, I was suffering from tuberculosis of both lungs. In the sanitarium I saw that the physicians, in spite of all kinds of material remedies, were in many cases powerless to cope with this terrible disease.

After contracting a very painful eruption there, which spread all over my right upper thigh, I left the sanitarium after four week's treatment, and turned again to Christian Science. I visited a practitioner, who treated me most lovingly. After only one treatment the eruption had completely disappeared. I then began to study the Christian Science textbook. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, with a great longing, and attended the Sunday services and Wednesday evening testimony meetings, whereby my understanding of the truth was greatly increased. My health improved perceptibly, and after a few treatments I was healed. Since that time several years have passed, and no symptoms of this disease have returned. I feel stronger and healtheir than ever before. My husband and I have experienced many blessings besides this healing.
