[Written for the Sentinel]

Be Still

God's love is everywhere; each smile and flower
Is Love's reflection on our path each day,
Varying in brightness only as we pray,
Differing only as we know Love's power.

God's love is all we need; all else is nothingness!
The greatest riches fill Love's outstretched hand;
And only as we trust and understand,
Such gifts are poured into our consciousness.

Thou doest so much, thou tiring one! Be still,
And know that God is Love—that all is well.
Steadfast and patient, thou shalt surely dwell
Within the consciousness of His sweet will.

And surely 't is enough to know His will
Is done, that everything is good and free,
That great abundance waits for you and me—
Health, wealth, joy, peace, and harmony. Be still!
