After spending many months in a hospital in training for a nurse, I was considered too young to take the responsibility and was sent home on a vacation, to rest. However, it was not physical rest that I needed, it was God. While on this vacation I was guided into a Christian Science home. The influence of divine Love reflected was something I had never felt before, and in attending the Christian Science church I found such a wonderful peace mentally. I loved Christian Science, but the desire for nursing under material medicine had not been destroyed, so I entered a hospital for the second time; but by this time it was proved to me that God, as understood through the teachings of Christian Science, is the only power. The mental disturbance was so great that in less than two weeks I left the hospital for good. The first healing I had through Christian Science was while I was still nursing in the hospital, when an epidemic of scarlet fever appeared among the nurses. After manifesting the fever myself I was completely healed in less than twelve hours, through Christian Science.

It is true that divine intelligence is the only intelligence, for through Christian Science I have found answers to problems that the doctors could not answer. I am thankful beyond words to God, for the Christ, Truth, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy who, through the consciousness of divine Love, gave to the world Christian Science.—(Miss) Caroline Chesterfield, Seattle, Washington.
