While I have been a student of Christian Science for several years, I have never before expressed my gratitude through the periodicals, a channel provided for the publication of testimonies by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy; yet not a day passes but that I am grateful for the understanding gained from the study of the Bible and the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy; grateful for the peace and happiness it has brought into my life, also for the protection it affords me. I am grateful that I can know the healing truth for myself and can help others when called upon for help.

My first healing was a test case and it put my confidence on the side of Christian Science. It was the healing of spasmodic contraction of the muscles of my side. Being just a beginner I did not have understanding enough to overcome the severe pain, and it seemed so real that I felt help must come from some source, so I went to a Christian Science practitioner, and was relieved in five minutes and there has been no return of the trouble. I am grateful for the privilege of having all the Christian Science literature, one or more pieces coming to my door each day. The Christian Science Monitor is greatly appreciated for the clean and instructive news that appears in its columns each day from all parts of the world.
