I am sending my testimony, thinking it might help some one else who is drifting on the sea of error. I became interested in Christian Science many years ago. My eyes had been in a serious condition since childhood, and were considered incurable. All the doctors who examined them said I would not see out of my right eye if I had another ulcer on the ball, as I had had many before. A dear Christian Science friend met me just as I was going home from a six weeks' stay in another city, where I had been in a dark room for hours daily, and could hardly see at all. I had not been able to read for years. This dear friend told me if I had another ulcer on my eye to come to her and she would take me to a Christian Science practitioner. I had only been home one week when another one was manifested. My son telephoned to this lady and I took the train to go to her, a distance of sixty-five miles. Her son met me at the train and I was ready for bed when I got to her home. She read to me from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and I went to sleep feeling a peace I had never experienced before. When I awoke in the morning I could see, without the light hurting my eyes. My friend took me to a practitioner and I had treatment for one week, although I came home the third day, and I have never used any material aid of any kind since. I am very grateful for the spiritual uplift and to know the omnipresence of God at all times and in all places, and that there is peace for all who will seek in the right way. I am grateful to Mary Baker Eddy for revealing this beautiful religion to us.
