The healing power of Christian Science was first brought to my notice several years ago, through the quick overcoming of a case of neuritis in a near relative. As a result of this, to us, miraculous cure my wife and I purchased a copy of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and commenced to read it, at the same time attending the services at a Christian Science church.

For two years previous to this I had been a sufferer from acute indigestion and stomach trouble, taking medicine almost daily, and being afraid to eat most things. After reading the textbook and other Christian Science literature for some little time, I felt convinced of its correctness, and determined to rely for my health entirely on the Principle it taught. At first it was a severe struggle, but as I persevered in my study the truth began to dawn in my consciousness, fear began to disappear along with many moral ailments, and within two months I was free and able to eat all I wanted, without bad results. Since then we have relied entirely on Christian Science for protection and healing, and I rejoice that it has very many times been proved to me that Christian Science is the truth which sets free, and is the knowledge of God, of Life, Truth, and Love, giving daily and hourly assurance of Love's ever presence and omnipotence. We have had many demonstrations of healing in our home, and while we are very grateful for the physical results, we are more grateful for all the spiritual benefits that have come through the study and effort to put into practice the teach ings of our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, whose consecrated life of labor and prayer brought this healing and saving truth to the apprehension of mankind.

I am also grateful to be identified with the cause of Christian Science through membership in The Mother Church, and in a branch First Church of Christ, Scientist, and my earnest desire is to let my gratitude be expressed in striving to work, watch, and pray that I may reflect more of Truth and Love.—Robert C.
