We read in Psalms, "No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly," and this has certainly been proved to me. No day passes without thought mounting in thankfulness to God, the giver of all good, for the glimpses of His love and goodness gained through Christian Science.

The power of Truth was beautifully demonstrated to me a few years ago. A severe case of nervousness with all its attendant miseries, such as loss of appetite and of sleep, had manifested itself, accompanied by the loss of the use of my legs. The most powerful anodynes had proved fruitless, and I was slowly weakening, apparently soon to pass from mortal view. The case had gone beyond the ability of the best material practitioners to cope with it. At the recommendation of my eldest daughter and her husband, who have the great privilege of attending The Mother Church, Christian Science help was sought. The results were marvelous. Instantaneous healing of sleeplessness took place and the use of my legs was at once restored. In three weeks I made a journey of about two thousand miles. The healing is a marvel to all without the understanding of Christian Science.

Every member of my family has been benefited most substantially through the study of Christian Science, and the physical healing is only incidental in comparison with the spiritual understanding, which throws off the yoke of bondage and enables man to see himself as God's image and to love his neighbor as himself. We are deeply and sincerely grateful to Mrs. Eddy, and to all who have helped us gain an understanding of the truth.
