For several years I have been a daily recipient of the blessings that the study of Christian Science brings, and it is with a heart overflowing with thankfulness to God for leading me to this religion and with gratitude to all those who have lent a helping hand in my efforts to understand more of its teachings, that I write this testimony.

We have four normal, healthy children, all of whom were born under Christian Science treatment, and on each occasion conditions were very harmonious. Not one of them has ever tasted medicine; and while they have not been entirely free from the ailments commonly supposed to assail children, they have always responded readily to Christian Science treatment. Shortly after the birth of the second child we discovered that he was tongue-tied. We immediately asked a practitioner for treatment, and healing soon followed. He began talking remarkably young, and people have often spoken of the distinctness with which he speaks. During the recent epidemic of so-called Spanish influenza three of the children and myself were healed of the disease. The youngest child, only a year old, had pneumonia as well, but under Christian Science treatment he was able to be dressed and taken from his room in one week.

These are only a few of the healings received. I cannot close my testimony without first expressing gratitude for the Christian Science periodicals, including the Monitor, for they have helped me to solve many a problem. I am also very grateful for membership in The Mother Church.
