Not only has Christian Science been my only physician for about ten years, but as a result of its teachings my thought toward other people and their ways of thinking and acting has been changed to a more kindly nature. In times of bodily suffering and distress of mind, by clinging to the truth to the best of my understanding and with the help of a practitioner I have been quickly relieved and uplifted.

There have been many healings in the home. So-called contagious diseases have vanished under treatment, also sore throat with fever; colds and many minor ailments have been overcome. During the influenza epidemic our two daughters were exposed to the so-called disease at school. A few nights later the elder child was taken with a very high fever and vomiting, but by applying my understanding of the truth and earnestly studying the Lesson-Sermons, all inharmonious conditions were overcome in one day. I also felt a great sense of protection for the other child, who manifested no thought of fear.

I feel a deep sense of love for Jesus the Way-shower, for Mrs. Eddy, who was the channel through which this wonderful religion came to the world, and for all who have helped me along the way of Truth. I appreciate the good I get from the Christian Science literature. The truth expressed in the hymns has brought healing to my fearful thought many times, and I have had great benefit from attending the lectures. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and for the strength and help which I have received from class instruction. For all the good I have received it seems difficult to express my gratitude in words. My earnest desire is to live it daily.
