Christian Science was first brought to my notice about five years ago, but the real light did not dawn upon me until a little over three years ago. Then I started in earnest to study the Bible together with Science and Health, and it was the beginning of a new life, in which old things began to disappear and new things (thoughts) to appear. I have been entirely healed of the drink habit of many years' standing, also of all desire to smoke. I do not use tobacco in any form now. I give this testimony in the hope that it will help others who are slaves to these habits to overcome them, as I did, through the study of Christian Science and the loving help of a practitioner.

I wish to give thanks to God and to express my gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and to all those who have made these wonderful demonstrations possible.
