I wish to express my sincere gratitude to Christian Science...
I wish to express my sincere gratitude to Christian Science for all the benefits I have received. For over ten years I was confined to the bed with heart and stomach trouble and a complication of other diseases. My doctor, who at that time was in regular attendance, gave me no hope of recovery, as he said the organs of the body were worn out, my age at that time being seventy-two. Three years ago, through a friend, I heard of a Christian Science healing, and being without hope of any improvement through medicine, I decided to ask for treatment. Since then my progress toward health has been gradual but sure, and I now enjoy such good health that last August I was able to take a journey of four hundred miles, go about a strange town for a fortnight, and return home without feeling any inconvenience. When I say that until I took up Christian Science I had not been out of my house for ten years, my gratitude will be easily understood.
I also wish to give thanks for the loving manner in which treatment has always been given me, and for the church services, which I attend regularly and which are a great benefit to me.—
FREDERICK SAUNDERS, Edinburgh, Scotland.
