As the benefits of Christian Science multiply daily, the love, peace, and joy that come to us through its study and ministrations, my debt to divine Love becomes increasingly great, and I am sending this testimony as a slight expression of my gratitude.

Eight years ago my physician said that I could never be free from pain unless an operation were performed to remove from the spine a pressure which caused constant pain at the base of the brain. Before this another physician in another city gave the same verdict. Two years more of suffering was endured before I consented to the operation, and then only because the pain had become unbearable and I had given up hope of relief from medical treatment.
