On the 19th of August, nine years ago, I was taken ill with a fever. I was sick for three weeks, and as soon as that fever left me a rheumatic trouble set in. I had been ill for weeks when a friend came in and wanted me to try Christian Science. So I sent for a practitioner, who treated me, and I felt much better right away. I had not been able to move myself for two weeks, but the first night I turned over on both sides, and in two or three days I got out of bed. In two weeks after that I was able to walk a little, and continued to improve steadily. Since that time I have not had a sign of the disease.
