It is with a grateful heart that I tell how I was healed through Christian Science. Two years ago I became seriously ill. Medical skill relieved me somewhat from the trouble which had brought me near death, but could not remove it completely. After some time I had another attack, which robbed me of all my strength. At that time I became acquainted with a Christian Scientist, and heard that many people were being healed in a wonderful way. I attended the meetings, which greatly inspired me. I also secured Der Herold der Christian Science, and read it diligently, believing that I would get well; but I found I lacked the necessary understanding, and therefore applied to a practitioner. With a few treatments I was completely restored, and know now that God is the "great Physician" who frees us from all disease and misery, for which I am thankful to Him. I am also grateful to our Leader, with all my heart.
