For a number of years I suffered very great pain and inconvenience with my feet. At one time they had been badly frost-bitten, and were disfigured by extremely large and painful bunions. In severe weather the conditions were so much aggravated that I could not keep my shoes on, and had to seek relief by putting my feet in snow or icy water, but this relief was only temporary. The bunions were at times so painful that walking was positive torture.
Something over a year ago, when I had heard of Christian Science and been greatly attracted to its teachings, I resolved to take treatment for my feet. I was then unable to walk without limping. I had two weeks' treatment, and though at the end of that time I was greatly uplifted spiritually, I was disappointed that my feet seemed no better. The practitioner encouraged me to go on studying and to know that the healing would come. I followed her directions faithfully, and some weeks later was utterly amazed to discover that the bunions could be removed easily without the use of any instrument. In a day or so my toes were smooth and unscarred, and the joints which had been swollen and apparently malformed, became perfectly normal.
This, as I have said, was over a year ago. I have never experienced any of the old trouble since, going through last winter without a return of the former conditions, and being able to purchase new footwear without painful apprehensions. This is only one of many Christian Science demonstrations that have come into my experience, and it is needless to say that I am grateful.
