While playing on the ice, my little girl, thirteen years old, slipped and fell, spraining her ankle very badly. Her younger sister pulled her to the house on a sleigh, and on removing the shoe, the foot was found to be badly swollen and discolored. Treatment in Christian Science was given, which quieted the fear and eased the pain. As myself and my two little ones are the only Scientists in Lehi, there was much antagonism to meet, so help was sent for. In three days the child was walking about the house; the fifth, she walked down town and back, eight blocks. The foot was normal and she was healed. Colds, sore throat, toothache, and all other ailments have been healed through the understanding of Christian Science. It is our refuge in every trouble. Our lives and our home would indeed be empty without it. We are grateful to God, and to our dear Leader.—Mary M. Rockwell, Lehi, Utah.
