My mother was healed by Christian Science when I was three years old and I can say with thankfulness that I have never been ill in bed a whole day in my life. A great many ailments have come up, all of which have been met with Christian Science. In school work, in the home, and in all my experience, Christian Science has been relied upon for help and has never failed. The physical healing is but the smallest blessing which I have received. It is the moral help for which I am most grateful,—the knowledge that every error of thought, such as anger or fear, need not be endured, but can be destroyed through the understanding of God which Christian Science gives. This is a constant source of gratitude. I hope that by practising this truth which Mrs. Eddy has brought to us, I can show to some extent my gratitude for the great work she is doing for the world.
