To the Christian Scientist it is quite clear that God, being infinite, omnipotent, and omniscient, the author, the creator of all that is, could not create or permit that which is absolutely unlike himself. In Habakkuk we read, "Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity." Omnipotence signifies all power; omniscience signifies all knowledge; for God, who is omnipotent and omniscient, to know or permit sin would by the inevitable logic of the thing make Him the creator of it. This Christian Scientists cannot reconcile with the fact of a God who is infinite good and with the statement in Genesis, 1:31, "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." The logic of Christian Science is irrefutable. Its teachings have brought the truth of an ever present God who is infinite Love to the understanding of thousands of people who formerly disclaimed any belief in God. It teaches a real world and a real man with a real body on the only possible basis of reality; namely, the spiritual.
