It is only a few months since I began the study of Christian Science and I could never tell how much it has done for me both mentally and physically. For six years I had been a great sufferer, had tried many physicians and gone through three serious operations, but still continued to grow weaker. I could not eat the simplest food without great distress. I was said to have liver and kidney trouble, and my bowels were partially paralyzed; I also had malaria, etc. After this I was taken with chills and fever, and all my other troubles seemed to have reached a climax. I felt that I was about to die, and at this point my mother, who has been a student of Christian Science for several years, suggested my trying it. I had little faith in it, but I consented, and a practitioner who was then at the house kindly undertook to help me. He gave me a treatment every hour during the night, and by noon of the following day I was able to sit up and could eat anything I wanted. In three days I traveled fifteen miles without fatigue. My healing in other troubles has been slow, but I know that as fast as I put off the old and put on the new, errors will vanish.
Words are inadequate to express my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, who has made it possible for me and for others to understand the truth.
Mrs. Ruby D. Graves, Butler, Pa.
