An Appreciative Letter to Mrs. Eddy

[We give the following letter a prominent place, feeling sure that its loving and grateful reference to the faithful Board of Directors will be heartily approved by all Christian Scientists. The building of the Extension of The Mother Church of Christ, Scientist, was a tremendous undertaking, and when we consider how much had to be accomplished in the given time, and the many intricate problems which presented themselves, it is easy to see that it could only have been brought to a successful termination by heeding the Master's injunction. "Have faith in God," by constant and intelligent reliance upon the divine Mind. When the date of the dedication was definitely announced, regardless of the fact all the needed funds had not yet been contributed and that much work yet remained to be done on the edifice itself, a lesson was given the members which they will never forget, and for which they will never cease to be grateful.

Mr. Rome's loving tribute to our revered Leader, and his recognition of her vital relation to this great achievement in Christian Science, will touch a tender chord in the hearts of all Christian Scientists, and they will echo his prayer for her happiness.—THE ASSOCIATE EDITORS.]
