"Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh." Christian Science came to us about five years ago. when we were truly in great need. My husband was very ill, and had been away from business six or seven weeks, all caused by worrying over our financial problem, trying to work it out from the basis of dollars and cents instead of realizing God as omnipresent supply. I too, was a great sufferer from a distressing affection of the nerves, at times being under the care of a nurse. My children were always ailing, and in fact we were perfect slaves to the doctor and the druggist. At this time Christian Science was brought to our notice. My husband accepted it and was healed; closely followed my own healing, a perfect demonstration, as I have been restored to health and usefulness. We have had in our home many and marvelous demonstrations in the healing of sickness, sin, and sorrow, and there have been no failures, for we have learned that if we are loyal to Principle, as we are taught in our text-book, Science and Health, and do our work well, trusting God and never doubting, we may be sure that God's work is always well done, and we shall receive the promised reward. To our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, I am deeply gratful, for, through her loyalty to God, the way has been made clear for us, and I am also most grateful to those dear Scientists, who have so lovingly and patiently led me out of a condition of mental darkness, into the radiance of the light of Truth.—A.
