True Science

Boston Times

As God is Creator of all things, the only First Cause. He must therefore be the Principle of all sciences—all true knowledge. A comprehensive understanding of God includes a true knowledge of the mode and constituency of His creation; for among the things to know about God are what and how He creates.

After one has acquired a correct understanding of creation and its Principle or Creator, the next step is to measure what has thus been ascertained concerning cause and effect with visible phenomena in general, and thereby determine between fact and fiction.

We all agree that a thing is not true or real simply because it so appears. The value or authenticity of a given claim must be determined by comparing it with fundamental ideas of Truth, God, which have already been accepted and proved, and nothing can be safely adopted as being true which is not in accord with infinite Intelligence and His ideas. Since the so-called natural sciences purpose to declare facts concerning the universe, including a correct description of its elements, motions, forces, etc., they must teach in strict accord with Spirit, the Principle of all existence, otherwise, they cannot be considered scientific. Human phenomena, as perceived and comprehended through the five personal senses, seem to conflict with Jesus' teaching in respect to the nature and constituency of the universe. The question is, Which aspect is true? Paul said, "Yea, let God be true, but every man a liar."
