Theory and Practice
Albert Lea (Minn.) Tribune
IN order to cure disease and sin, it is necessary to delve to the root of the matters and eradicate their fundamental cause.
In the healing of sickness or sin there takes place such a spiritual uplifting that one feels and knows that only the power of God has wrought the marvelous change in him. A newer and clearer presentation of God comes to his consciousness. His motives, purposes, and affections change, and so his life is improved. He becomes a better man, better father, better son, or a better neighbor.
The healing by Christian Science of the sick and sinful is one act, one metaphysical process. Both sin and sickness have the same cause and both have one cure as Jesus distinctly taught.
