A Morning Lesson

ALL nature pulsates with responsive gratitude to the glorious sun for his benefactions of light and heat. His every ray carries the same vitalizing message to bird and flower, and the earth robes herself in color and breaks into song.

A ray detached from its source would be no longer a ray, and the sun no longer perfect, all the rays detached, the sun would no longer be a sun. This constant, undisturbed radiation is, in human concept, the obedient response to, "Let there be light!"

Man is the expression of the one Mind, he reflects Life and Love omnipotent. His separation from the one infinite source, Mind, is as inconceivable as is the isolation of the sun's rays from the sun. Resultant from this unity, man, in true activity repeats the God-spoken message of life and love. The sick, despairing, perhaps, under the human sentence of fatality, catch the glad message of life and rejoice in health; the sinful, repentant, feel the helping hand of love and rejoice in obedience, and both have but responded to a higher understanding of the divine mandate, "Let there be light!"
