The Lectures
A lecture by Edward A Kimball of Chicago, under the auspices of the local Christian Science Society, was given in the Opera House on Thursday evening, March 20, before an audience of six hundred. Mr. Kimball was introduced by C. B. Ames of this city in a few appropriate and well-chosen remarks. He then delivered his lecture on "The Cause and Scientific Cure of Disease," to a remarkably attentive audience. Mr. Kimball's words were direct and forceful, and his appearance bore witness to the healing efficacy of the cause he advocates.
