Nearly two years have elapsed since I heard of Christian Science
Nearly two years have elapsed since I heard of Christian Science. I was ready for it; for, like a great many others, I had tried almost everything else without avail. I turned, as it says in our text-book, like a tired child to something more substantial; that is, to divine Love.
I have found it a present and lasting help since I have learned my way so as to apply the truth. I had been subject to very severe headaches all my life, but they were very much worse for the five years previous to my acquaintance with Science. The headaches were overcome and catarrh of nearly twenty years' standing has yielded to Christian Science treatment.
I had worn glasses for twenty years also. I took them off when I began to read Science and Health, and have never had them on since. I had other threatening troubles which were the first warning of disease that often ends in consumption, but I am now entirely free.
