When I was ten years old I had a heavy cold which left me with a very bad cough. I was attending school at that time, but it was not long before I had to remain at home altogether. Everything troubled me. I suffered with such headaches that I was not able to study my lessons. The doctor advised me to stay out of school. I took a great deal of medicine, one bottle after another. Then I went to another doctor, who told me I must be careful or I would get consumption. I got tired of taking medicine, for I coughed just the same, no matter what I took.

It was last April when I first heard of Christian Science and thought I would try it. My mother took me to a healer in Philadelphia, and in six weeks the cough, that had troubled me for nearly three years, had left me entirely. I am thirteen years old now, am attending school again, and am well and happy. I am very thankful to God and my kind healer who have done so much for me.
